13-year-old Ava is spending the holidays with her mother and little sister on the Atlantic coast. It will be the last summer in which she can see, as she is slowly losing her eyesight. Her mother tries to make it the best summer of her life, while Ava develops her very own strategies of coping with the illness. She steals the dog of a mysterious boy who lives in a bunker by the ocean. Gradually they grow closer and Ava becomes involved in his family problems. In wide camera shots the debut of Léa Mysius captures the radiant light of summer in a touching manner, providing an insight into several days that mark a big step forward into becoming a grown-up and into an uncertain future.
