On a rainy day, Koyaa decides to tidy up his room. However, when he steps on a toy car it takes him for a crazy ride. The naughty car refuses to be parked, until Koyaa finally has a clever idea how to outsmart it.

DIRECTOR

Kolja Saksida is a Slovenian director, producer, lecturer and actor. He graduated from ECAL University of Art and Design, Lausanne. In his animation workshops for children, youths and grown-ups he has put forth multiple award-winning films. Moreover, he is assistant professor at the University of Nova Gorica and director of ZWIKS production company in Slovenia.

DIRECTOR

Jaehun Chung is a film director from Seoul, Korea. He grew up in Tokyo and spent his adolescence in Seoul and the US. He graduated with a B.A. in film production and a subsequent M.A. in film directing from the American Film Institute (Los Angeles). He has worked as assistent director on the films MY WAY by Kang Je-kyu and SNOWPIERCER by Bong Joon-ho.

DIRECTOR

Yekaterina Kireeva studied textile design at the Moscow Stroganov State University of Arts and Industry and illustrated and published a children’s book titled „This Never Happens“. She went on to take classes in animation film directing at School-Studio „Shar“, additionally she lectures at Moscow State Theater College L. A. Filatov. THE BRICKS is her directorial debut.

DIRECTOR

Abel Ringot was born in 1992 in Lille. He studied animation at ESAAT in Roubaix, Northern France. His interests include youth themed illustration and poetry as well. He loves children’s books and films for a young audience, and enjoys making cut-out animation with children.

Martín Valverde Watson, born in 1987 in Mexico City, works as director, artistic director and author. He studied cinematography at the Film School of Catalonia (ESCAC). His work comprises short and feature length films, video clips, TV productions and documentaries. He published his first book in 2015, a collection of short stories.
