The intercultural film club of the DFF presents its favourite films

Since early 2015, the intercultural film club „Blickwechsel Jetzt!“ is an offer by the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in collaboration with the „Aktive Schule“ for the encounter and exchange between refugees and the youth of Frankfurt. One evening per month, the group lies the focus on the collective watching and experiencing of film in the cinema of the DFF.

At LUCAS, the youths, who are between 14 and 20 years old, show three of their favourite films out of the broad spectrum of documentary and fiction film of the intercultural film club, ranging from the classics of the silent film era to the modern action movie. The youths present their curated films on three afternoons at 4 o’clock respectively and invite the festival goers to change their point of view now.
