France 2019. Director: Gilles de Maistre. Screenplay: Prune de Maistre. 84 Min. Documentary film. Div. Original with English subtitles, with German voice-over (online optionally). Released without age restriction. Recommended for audiences from 9 years of age.
Children can change the world! José Adolfo, Arthur, Aïssatou, Micah, Heena, Cree, Jocelyn, and other children from all over the world prove that in this inspiring French documentary. Through local projects, they are fighting for their beliefs and a better future in their home countries: for school education, environmental protection, an end to extreme poverty, and against child marriages. The 10 to 13-year-old heroes talk about their ideas and projects and leave no doubt that tomorrow’s world belongs to the brave children of today. (HA)
