Medellín, Colombia. Paula alias Lita is studying photography at the same University her father is teaching at as a professor. One day, he is taken away from her in an attack. Grief, shock, desperation and anger mix with the realization that the police won’t help. Paula throws herself into oblivion, drinks and parties in the city’s clubs. Then he stands before her: Jesús, her father’s murderer. KILLING JESUS is a disturbing work on the complex questions that arise in the face of existential experience of violence. Sometimes, one’s scars are also those of someone else. (AB)
