A Bittersweet comedy about the first and last love

Australia 2019. Director: Shannon Murphy. Screenplay: Rita Kalnejais. 118 Min. Fiction. engl. OmU. Released for audiences from 12 years of age. Recommended from 15 years of age.

Milla wants to dance, laugh, live her life and recently she wants to see Moses. As often as possible. Moses, that’s one of the things parents warn their daughters about. A charmer, a freak and also a junkie. But he makes the 16-year-old shine from deep inside – and she doesn’t have much time for that anymore. Milla has cancer. She is going to die and her parents, who have problems of their own, can hardly stand it. MILLA MEETS MOSES is a funny, sad, sometimes rough and deeply touching film about being young, loving, letting go and all that remains. (KT)
