In a forest somewhere, a group of people, who could hardly be more different in appearance, origin, and age, board a refrigerated truck. In hope of finding a new home, they leave everything behind. Where will the smuggler take them?

Educational Material


Farzaneh Omidvarnia (*Iran) studied art at the University of Tehran and received her doctorate in design from Denmark’s Technical University in 2015. Since then, she has worked as a sculptor and published a collection of short stories in 2016. Her fabric sculptures have been part of various exhibitions in Europe and Iran. Omidvarnia’s first short film, TO BE, received several international awards. SONG SPARROW is her second short film.
