Get Involved 2018

GET INVOLVED!

During the festival week

Young film fans don’t just watch at LUCAS, they take the leading role! As reporters they’re right in the midst of the festival, they discuss in a jury of peers and film professionals, they tune the audience in on a film with their own introduction, they become patrons of a film and present it to the audience in all its facets and they get the chance to get to the bottom of the director’s experiences in intensive workshops: one week of LUCAS offers numerous possibilities to make it your own.

LUCAS Film Forum
After pre-registering, groups can come together during the festival week in a discussion lounge for intensive screen talks.
The LUCAS Film Forum can be booked following selected feature films of the competition 8+, 13+ and 16+ that are presented in the cinema of the Deutsches Filmmuseum. They are accompanied by film educators.
LUCAS film patrons – one school class, one film!
As film patrons, students are taking over the cinema: They present one film from the competition categories with which they have engaged beforehand. Introduction to the film, presentation and discussion: the students have the floor!
