HOW DOES A FILM BECOME A CLASSIC? This is the question that children and young people from the Classics.Class ask themselves every year at LUCAS. They embark on a search through the history of film, they watch films on a central topic, and they discuss what exactly constitutes the films that have shaped entire generations. In keeping with the special exhibition The Sound of Disney at the DFF, Classics.Class 2020 will take a closer look at the great full-length animated films that were significantly influenced by Walt Disney. What the children of the Classics.Class think about the seemingly timeless classics SLEEPING BEAUTY and ONE HUNDRED AND ONE DALMATIANS 60 years after their release will be revealed at LUCAS.
