Juries<\/h2>\n

Swapping the class\u00adroom for the cine\u00adma for a week and eva\u00adlua\u00adting films \u2013 tha\u00adt\u2019s the pri\u00advi\u00adle\u00adge of the LUCAS juries. While the young jury mem\u00adbers in the \u00bbKids\u00ab and \u00bbTeens\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adons sel\u00adect the best fea\u00adture and short films in their sec\u00adtion tog\u00ade\u00adther with adult indus\u00adtry pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnals, in the \u00bbYoungsters\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon six European teen\u00adagers dis\u00adcuss and deci\u00adde among them\u00adsel\u00adves which fea\u00adture film left the stron\u00adgest impres\u00adsi\u00adon on them. In addi\u00adti\u00adon to scree\u00adnings at the cine\u00adma tog\u00ade\u00adther with the fes\u00adti\u00adval audi\u00adence, jury mee\u00adtings and shared lun\u00adches round off a typi\u00adcal fes\u00adti\u00adval day. District Jury 2023<\/h1>\n

The \u00bbDistrict Jury\u00ab is for\u00admed each year in a dif\u00adfe\u00adrent dis\u00adtrict, the open pro\u00adgram is made up of child\u00adren and teen\u00adagers who learn in the pro\u00adject to express them\u00adsel\u00adves as dif\u00adfer\u00adent\u00adly as they them\u00adsel\u00adves are. This year the \u00bbDistrict Jury\u00ab comes from H\u00f6chst. For this, LUCAS is working tog\u00ade\u00adther with the Youth and Cultural Center H\u00f6chst.
\nAnyone bet\u00adween ten and 14 years old can par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adte. The pro\u00adject beg\u00adins with a work\u00adshop week during the sum\u00admer holi\u00addays from July 24 to 28<\/strong> at the Youth and Cultural Center (JuKuZ) H\u00f6chst<\/strong>. There the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts watch short films, prac\u00adti\u00adce the pre\u00adcise, ana\u00adly\u00adti\u00adcal view of film, deci\u00adde tog\u00ade\u00adther on eva\u00adlua\u00adti\u00adon cri\u00adte\u00adria, enga\u00adge with Web 2.0 for\u00admats for their film reviews: pod\u00adcasts, inter\u00adviews, vlogs and much more. During the fes\u00adti\u00adval, the \u00bbDistrict Jury\u00ab then wat\u00adches short film pro\u00adgrams from the com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon, deba\u00adtes opi\u00adni\u00adons, deci\u00addes on their win\u00adning film and pres\u00adents it via mul\u00adti\u00adme\u00addia lau\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon as part of the offi\u00adci\u00adal awards cerem\u00ado\u00adny. Crowning con\u00adclu\u00adsi\u00adon: the \u00bbDistrict Jury\u00ab pres\u00adents their work and their award-win\u00adning film after LUCAS in H\u00f6chst. The \u00bbDistrict Jury\u00ab pro\u00adject is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble by the Hessian Ministry of Education with funds from the L\u00f6wenstark \u2013 der BildungsKICK program.<\/p>\n
