Lights, came\u00adra, and action at LUCAS #49: From September 24 to October 1, 2026, Germany\u2019s oldest film fes\u00adti\u00adval for young audi\u00aden\u00adces pres\u00adents award-win\u00adning cine\u00adma\u00adtic art for ever\u00adyo\u00adne from three years to 18plus. Families and film fans of all ages can look for\u00adward to out\u00adstan\u00adding cine\u00adma expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Offenbach and Bad Homburg.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the heart of LUCAS are the com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adons in the \u00bbKids\u00ab, \u00bbTeens\u00ab and \u00bbYoungsters\u00ab sec\u00adtions. In addi\u00adti\u00adon, the fes\u00adti\u00adval shows short films for the very youn\u00adgest and seve\u00adral other pro\u00adgrams, some of which are cura\u00adted by child\u00adren and young peo\u00adp\u00adle. During the fes\u00adti\u00adval week, the\u00adre is a spe\u00adcial focus on film talks, in which film\u00adma\u00adkers from all over the world enter into dia\u00adlog with the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

For repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adves of the film indus\u00adtry, panel dis\u00adcus\u00adsions are held that deal with topics of film edu\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon and cur\u00adrent trends in child\u00adren\u2019s and youth film production.<\/span><\/p>\n
