LUCAS Film Club<\/h1>\n

If you still haven\u2019t had enough of movies after the fes\u00adti\u00adval week: how about wat\u00adching a movie tog\u00ade\u00adther once a month free of char\u00adge at the DFF Cinema? If you feel direct\u00adly addres\u00adsed, wel\u00adco\u00adme to the \u00bbLUCAS Film Club\u00ab!<\/p>\n

Founded by LUCAS-Alumni, it offers a regu\u00adlar cine\u00adma expe\u00adri\u00adence and a sub\u00adse\u00adquent exch\u00adan\u00adge about the vie\u00adw\u00ading expe\u00adri\u00adence. Together, the young par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts aged 14 to 19 attend a month\u00adly scree\u00adning of their choice from the cur\u00adrent DFF Cinema pro\u00adgram. Afterwards, the group dis\u00adcus\u00adses the strengths and weak\u00adne\u00ads\u00adses of the films in a rela\u00adxed atmo\u00adsphe\u00adre over a sui\u00adta\u00adble drink. They express the results of their dis\u00adcus\u00adsion in cor\u00adre\u00adspon\u00adding film reviews, which are published on the fes\u00adti\u00adval\u2019s own Letterboxd chan\u00adnel. They also report on their mee\u00adtings and recruit new mem\u00adbers on their own Instagram channel.<\/p>\n

A look at the visu\u00adal lan\u00adguage and sound level as well as social refe\u00adren\u00adces round off a suc\u00adcessful film review. In the appro\u00adpria\u00adte work\u00adshop during the fes\u00adti\u00adval week, the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts learn the neces\u00adsa\u00adry craft, view sel\u00adec\u00adted com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon films in the cine\u00adma and work on their texts. Preparatory work\u00adshops pro\u00advi\u00adde the neces\u00adsa\u00adry tools, while you come up with the con\u00adtent. District jury 2023<\/h1>\n

The \u201cdis\u00adtrict jury\u201d is for\u00admed every year in a dif\u00adfe\u00adrent dis\u00adtrict, the open offer is made up of child\u00adren and young peo\u00adp\u00adle who learn to express them\u00adsel\u00adves as dif\u00adfer\u00adent\u00adly as they are in the pro\u00adject. This year, the \u201cdis\u00adtrict jury\u201d comes from H\u00f6chst. LUCAS is working tog\u00ade\u00adther with the H\u00f6chst Youth and Cultural Center.
\nAnyone bet\u00adween the ages of ten and 14 can take part. The pro\u00adject beg\u00adins with a work\u00adshop week during the sum\u00admer vaca\u00adti\u00adons from July 24 to 28<\/strong> at the H\u00f6chst Youth and Cultural Center (JuKuZ)<\/strong>. There, the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts will view short films, prac\u00adti\u00adse a pre\u00adcise, ana\u00adly\u00adti\u00adcal view of film, deci\u00adde tog\u00ade\u00adther on eva\u00adlua\u00adti\u00adon cri\u00adte\u00adria, deal with Web 2.0 for\u00admats for their film reviews: pod\u00adcasts, inter\u00adviews, vlogs and much more. During the fes\u00adti\u00adval, the \u201cdis\u00adtrict jury\u201d then wat\u00adches short film pro\u00adgrams from the com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon, deba\u00adtes opi\u00adni\u00adons, deci\u00addes on its win\u00adning film and pres\u00adents it via mul\u00adti\u00adme\u00addia lau\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon at the offi\u00adci\u00adal awards cerem\u00ado\u00adny. The crow\u00adning glo\u00adry: the \u201cdis\u00adtrict jury\u201d pres\u00adents its work and the win\u00adning film after LUCAS in H\u00f6chst. The \u201cStadtteiljury\u201d pro\u00adject is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble by the Hessian Ministry of Culture with funds from the L\u00f6wenstark \u2014 der BildungsKICK program.<\/p>\n

As part of this \u00bbGet Involved!\u00ab pro\u00adject, six young peo\u00adp\u00adle who have alre\u00ada\u00addy been invol\u00adved in pro\u00adjects at other European film fes\u00adti\u00advals, cine\u00adma\u00adthe\u00adques or film insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adons will net\u00adwork in the months lea\u00adding up to the fes\u00adti\u00adval.
