It\u2019s that time again \u2013 the award cerem\u00ado\u00adny of the 48th edi\u00adti\u00adon of LUCAS will take place at the cine\u00adma of the DFF.<\/p>\n

Young film enthu\u00adsi\u00adasts will enga\u00adge in dis\u00adcus\u00adsions on equal foo\u00adting with adult indus\u00adtry pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnals to deci\u00adde the win\u00adners in the \u00bbKids\u00ab and \u00bbTeens\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adons. In the \u00bbYoungsters\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon, the decis\u00adi\u00adon lies in the hands of six young peo\u00adp\u00adle from Germany, Austria, and Belgium. The jury of the European Children\u2019s Film Association (ECFA) is made up of European pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnals from the children\u2019s and youth film sce\u00adne. This year, Anna Hofmann (jury for the \u00bbKids\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon), tog\u00ade\u00adther with Christian Zetterberg and Andrea Reisz (both jury mem\u00adbers for the \u00bbTeens\u00ab com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon), will pre\u00adsent the ECFA Award to their favo\u00adri\u00adte European child\u00adren\u2019s film. This pri\u00adze qua\u00adli\u00adfies the win\u00adning film for the annu\u00adal com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon for the \u201cBest European Children\u2019s Film of the Year\u201d, award\u00aded during the Berlin International Film Festival. Cinema Without Borders, an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal net\u00adwork in the film indus\u00adtry, will pre\u00adsent the Bridging The Borders Award at LUCAS. This award honors films that bring peo\u00adp\u00adle tog\u00ade\u00adther across all kinds of bor\u00adders and deal with issues of social jus\u00adti\u00adce. The Audience Award gives a voice to the LUCAS audience.<\/p>\n
