BOY AND THE WORLD

BOY AND THE WORLD

Little Cuca lives in a world between colorful childhood memories and a cold, technological reality. When his father suddenly disappears, he sets off alone on a search – with a suitcase, a family photo and a lot of courage. His journey takes him through jungles, plantations, favelas and factories. In bright colors, with rhythmic sounds and surprising images, the film tells of amazement, loss, finding again – and of how a child understands the world. Almost without dialog, the film creates a language beyond words – about exploitation and environmental destruction, but also about joy, love and magic. (DA)
