Guest at LUCAS:
Blickwechsel Jetzt! — the DFF Film Club
»Blickwechsel Jetzt!« IS MORE THAN A FILM CLUB: Since 2015, the DFF, in collaboration with Aktive Schule and Kolpinghaus, has been bringing together young people between the ages of 14 and 25 – with and without migration background, on different educational paths and with diverse life realities.
When? TU, Sep. 30 | 5.30 p.m.
Where? DFF Cinema
Once a month, the group meets at the DFF Cinema: The evening begins with a meal together, followed by a movie. This creates a space for genuine exchange: open, respectful and at eye level, far removed from the constraints of school and everyday life.
Classics of film history, short and experimental films as well as works from the Global South will be shown. These reflect different experiences and invite us to discover what connects us instead of emphasizing what divides us. Every point of view counts – it is precisely this diversity that makes the film club special.
This year, the film club is having a »Film Patronship« for a film from the LUCAS program. The choice fell on SLACKERS by Sorina Gajewski: a film about the future fears and hopes of Generation Z which deeply resonates with many members of the film club.
