Héctor Dàvila studied film in Mexico City. He creates fictive and animated short films that are screened in Rotterdam, Ecuador and Cannes. In addition to his work as a director, he also works as an actor, painter and graphic designer.

Marie Léa Regales was born in Paris in 1993. After studying Editing, she made her first short film LES SIRÈNES, revolving around the topic of abortion, that has been screened at festivals in the USA and Europe. Her second short film LA VIE SUR MARS has been acquired by the French television channel France 2.

Gina Wenzel currently studies in the postgraduate program Media Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Her short films have been screened at more than 130 national and international film festivals and won numerous film awards.

Antony Petrou is an award-winning filmmaker. He studied at the Central St. Martins College of Arts and Design. His debut feature film WE ARE MONSTERS was nominated for the »Michael Powell Award« at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. The film was screened in Great Britain and the USA and was acquired by Netflix in 2016.

Darío is 17, loves carnival and really wants to be a dancer at the parade in his hometown Baranquilla. But his mother wants a man in the house who brings in money. Darío will have to choose. (JE)
Manuel Kinzer was born in 1977 in Kassel. He studied Visual Communication at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and Camera at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin. In 2007 he co-founded the production company »FILMGESTALTEN« with Florian Gerstenberg – the production company through which he has produced numerous short films since. DARÍO is his directing debut.
Jorge A. Trujillo Gil was born in Colombia in 1987 and grew up in Spain. He studied Audiovisual Communication in Salamanca and Film/Politics in Barcelona. He also participated in a number of social and journalistic projects in Spain and Colombia. In addition, he worked as an assistant director on a number of films. DARÍO is his directing debut.
