Initially reluc­tant­ly, Amanda agrees to sup­port her new class­ma­te Lars in ever­y­day school life. He has Down’s syn­dro­me. However, she soon rea­li­zes that Lars and she have more in com­mon than she first thought — espe­ci­al­ly their love of Harry Potter: after school, they fool around tog­e­ther with made-up spells.
