INTENSIVE AND SENSIBLE DRAMA ABOUT AN ART STUDENT WHO LOSES HER SECRET LOVE
Kisses on the beach at dawn: Art student Una loves her fellow student Diddi and he loves her. But nobody knows that they are a couple, because the young man is officially with his childhood friend Klara. Now he wants to travel to his old home to break up with her. He will never get there because an accident takes him and many others out of his life. The flags in Iceland are flying at half-mast and Diddi’s confidants are crying in each other’s arms, only Una doesn’t know what to do with her endless grief. Everyone only sees Klara’s pain, who now seeks Una’s closeness. From sunset to sunrise, WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS tells of life and death, happiness and sadness, and the certainty that the sun will rise again in the morning.
