THE FUTURE IN THE STARS, THE PRESENT ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE.

Ziba wants to study astrophysics, to understand the big picture. And now, today, with her final grades at school, it all seems to be within reach — or so she thinks. She spends this day with her best mates Tara, Shea and Merf, and her buddy Malcolm joins them. Together, they wander through London. Ziba has made a detailed plan, from eating falafel to a meteor shower in the evening. And all the while, Ziba carries a secret and a decision around with him that the others don’t yet know about. LAST SWIM is a film about a single hot summer’s day, about the intimacy of friendship, about doubts, kisses, new beginnings and hard-won hope.
