US KIDS

USA 2020. Director: Kim A. Snyder. 98 Min. Documentary. Language: English. Suitable from age 12. Recommended from age 15.

17 people died at the school shooting in Parkland, many others were hurt and traumatized. The anger of the survivors formed the „March for our lives“-movement. For 18 months Kim A. Snyder watched the central protagonists behind it. Their political activism is enriched with adrenaline and emotions.  The group of teenagers demand effective actions to control the private possesions of firearms. Within a short time period the local initiative not only grows into one of the biggest protest actions in US history, but a worldwide mass movement.
