ATMOSPHERIC COMING-OF-AGE FILM WITH A LIGHT MYSTERY MOOD
Eleven-year-old Evie travels to Cornwall for a summer vacation with her mother. On the rugged coast of southern England, she meets Adam, who shows her around. Together they discover a mysterious abandoned tin mine on the outskirts of the town, from which strange noises emanate and mysterious voices call out to them. As they begin to question what is real or imagined in their lives above ground, the stories from their childhood unravel and a darker, more complex picture of the adult world begins to take shape. A superbly acted, visually stunning feature film debut from director Lucy Cohen.
