HOW DO YOU TAKE CARE OF THOSE WHO RAISED YOU?
Bruno lives with his grandmother Natividad in Barcelona. The 86-year-old is the only family he has ever known, but her growing dependence on her grandson clashes more and more with his need for freedom and self-discovery. When the opportunity arises to place Natividad in a care home, Bruno is forced to confront a decision he had never considered before. With THE IMMINENT AGE, the filmmaking collective Col-lectiu Vigília creates an intimate dialog between two generations. In it, it becomes clear that care and fatigue often coexist in family relationships and that love sometimes also means having to let go.

Biography
The six members of Col·lectiu Vigília met while studying Audiovisual Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. THE IMMINENT AGE is their first joint project and was awarded the Málaga Work in Progress Prize and the Young Audience Award at the Giffoni Film Festival, among others.
