At the heart of LUCAS are the inter­na­tio­nal com­pe­ti­ti­ons with cur­rent fea­ture-length and short films. The juries award attrac­ti­ve pri­zes in the »Kids«, »Teens« and »Youngsters« sec­tions. The films are shown in their ori­gi­nal lan­guage with English sub­tit­les and German voice-over (no voice-over for films recom­men­ded for ages 14 and up).
