LUCAS – International Festival for Young Film Lovers offers Internships
Summer 2024

Are you inte­res­ted in hel­ping to orga­ni­ze a film fes­ti­val? Do you think and act in terms of pos­si­bi­li­ties, not limits? Do you have a good com­mand of German and English – or other lan­guages? LUCAS offers up to 18 weeks of pro­fes­sio­nal insight into the plan­ning and orga­niza­ti­on of an inter­na­tio­nal film fes­ti­val for young audiences.

LUCAS takes place from October 5 to 11, 2024 in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Offenbach and offers stu­dents intern­ships in various are­as as part of a com­pul­so­ry or sub­ject-rela­ted intern­ship. We offer you the oppor­tu­ni­ty to gain expe­ri­ence in a dedi­ca­ted team with num­e­rous exci­ting part­ners and guests from all over the world in the fol­lo­wing areas:

  • Editorial Office & Public Relations (June 17 to September 6, 2024; pre­fer­a­b­ly until October 18, 2024)
  • Assistance Festival Management & Head of Festival (June 17 to October 18, 2024)
  • Production / Postproduction / Social Media / Graphics (July 15 to October 18, 2024)
  • School Cooperations & Film Education (July 15 to October 18, 2024)
  • Guest Management (August 12 to October 25, 2024)

LUCAS also offers shorter internships:

  • Copy Disposition & Online Platform (August 12 to October 25, 2024)
  • Jury Assistance (October 1 to 15, 2024)
  • Guest and Location Services (September 18 to October 16, 2024)

If you are inte­res­ted, plea­se app­ly for one of the adver­ti­sed posi­ti­ons. Part-time arran­ge­ments are pos­si­ble depen­ding on the area of respon­si­bi­li­ty and time period.

Requirements:

  • respon­si­ble and team-ori­en­ted working skills
  • strong social skills
  • flu­ent in writ­ten and spo­ken German and English
  • basic know­ledge of Microsoft Office
  • mul­ti­tas­king abili­ties, high resilience
  • optio­nal: know­ledge of video and image editing programmes
