ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND DANCING

It’s always the others who are cool. So far, this hasn’t bothered twelve-year-old Mina. But then she falls for her new classmate Edwin, who is a popular hip-hop dancer. To be close to him, she joins a dance crew and from then on thinks of nothing else. Her buddy Markus feels left out, her parents are worried, only grandma is thrilled: finally her granddaughter is getting passionate into dancing! While the other girls and boys quickly get the moves, Mina’s self-doubt grows. She feels too fat, too clumsy and, above all, too nerdy. In a way that is both funny and thoughtful, DANCING QUEEN tells the story of how Mina finds herself after a few detours. (KT)
