Colorful fairy tale about the power of fri­end­ship, cou­ra­ge, and being different

When Mumbo mira­cu­lous­ly grows into a true giant one day, the young hipp­o­po­ta­mus must embark on an adven­tur­ous jour­ney to far away Siberia. There, in an enchan­ted forest, lives the powerful witch Baba Yaga, whom even the dili­gent bea­vers fear – she is the only one who can trans­form Mumbo back. Fortunately, he does­n’t have to under­ta­ke the long jour­ney, which invol­ves over­co­ming roads, moun­ta­ins, and oce­ans, alo­ne: his three best fri­ends accom­pa­ny him in a fly­ing bath­tub and belie­ve in him even when he doubts hims­elf. MUMBO JUMBO brings the magi­cal world from the books of Danish car­too­nist Jakob Martin Strid to life and shows that true great­ness comes from within. (AnG)
