STAND BY ME

Summer in Castle Rock, an idyllic small town in the US state of Oregon. For days, Gordie, Chris, Teddy and Vern have been following radio reports from their treehouse about a boy who never returned from picking blueberries. They say he was run over by a train and his body is lying somewhere by the tracks. Vern and his friends imagine how exciting it would be to find the dead boy. Driven by the desire to be celebrated as heroes, they set off on a grueling, adventurous trek through Oregon’s mountains. What begins as an exciting adventure turns into a journey that will shape the friendship of the four boys forever.
